Welcome Back! Thanks for spending some creative time with us. This project came about after watching Bonnie’s video using 2×2 squares to create a scene. I thought it would be harder to create a smaller scene but it turned out to be way easier. I used the Peeking Animals set and a few other stamps to create these cute gift card tops. I wrote in the sentiments, so again they can be used for any occasion.

Hi Watercolor Fans, welcome back to watercolor weekend with Art Impressions Watercolor stamps. I am so thrilled to be able to join in the launch of the NEW watercolor stamps. I love everything about these as you have a scene already created for you and all you need to do is fill it with flowers and foliage, easy peasy. So our challenge this week was to create a quick and easy card. This one looks difficult but it was really easy. Sometimes I find myself creatively challenged when it comes to colors. Sometimes I do so many colors it overwhelms the painting. For this quick and easy project, I used only three colors for the flowers. In order to vary each flower arrangement, I used each color on different flowers. This worked out well with my three square layout. It created interest while maintaining an overall together look.

Hey watercolor fans! Thank you so much for joining me again for Watercolor Weekend. For my project this week, I decided to make a Thank You Floral card. I love the Floral Invites set because you can use it in so many different ways. Just change the color of the flowers, foliage, and the message and the card has a whole new feel.
TIP: When using clear stamps it is sometimes difficult to see the design so I prep my stamp by coloring it completely with my 725 and cleaning it off. The pink stains the stamp (which is fine) and allows me to see where the details are.

Welcome watercolor fans! I hope you are enjoying the weather wherever you may be. For me, we are in the middle of a very cold winter but it doesn’t stop me from doing the things I love, snowmobiling and water coloring. I was inspired by Shayda Campbell‘s February bujo layout. Here is my take on her design. I call it Balloon Valentine. It was so easy and fun to create. Let me tell you how I did it.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I am so excited to show you my first watercolor card of 2021. I hope you had a safe and happy holiday. Today I am featuring my Snow Globe Farmhouse. This painting is special to me as it is a friend of mine’s farmhouse. I was lacking inspiration and his home was all it took. The stamp set that has the Snow Globe stamp (it is actually a frame stamp from Gina K Designs) is retired…sorry!
