Hi there, thanks for stopping by to check out my new Nursery Rhyme Journal. I really enjoyed the Mother Goose journal (along with another journal I haven’t released yet, which is just as exciting IMO). Today I am sharing another take on Nursery Rhymes. I will preface it by saying I did re-do the “Mary Had A Little Lamb” as I had a lamb but used a sheep last time for some reason…SMH.
I shared the cover pages over on the Art Impressions Blog – go check out the step by step instructions on how I created the front and back as well as a bonus middle painting! Here are some pics to inspire you.
The Nursery Rhyme Journal much like the Mother Goose Journal is a collection of nursery rhymes and coordinating images created using Art Impressions stamps. I love having a theme and then creating images using my stamps to morph into that theme. It’s a creative process that can jump start your inspiration.
First up, the front cover:
the Cow Jumped Over the Moon
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Middle:
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue
Back Cover:
Little Bo Peep
Mary Had a Little Lamb
Five Little Ducks
Rock A Bye Baby
Three Little Pigs
Star Light, Star Bright
I Had A Little Hen
Three Little Kittens
Thank you so much for stopping in to spend some of your Sunday with me. I appreciate you and your time. I hope you have a wonderful day and why not do something creative for your soul today? Til next time…
