I love this gnome set as much as everyone else. There is so much inspiration that I was inclined to create this Valentine Gnome card for my husband for Valentine’s day. Thank you, Karen Day, for the inspirational watercolor weekend post.
I created this cute little Valentine card for my husband this year. The balloons that Karen used in her card were perfect for my interpretation, but I needed a few more :). The valentine’s paper was so perfect.
I hope I have inspired you to create something, anything. don’t give up, keep going and watch what you can do. It’s amazing to be inspired daily by your creations, as well as your humility, gratitude, love and everything good in the world. I am blessed to be part of a creative community that supports and lifts each other up because Creativity just makes MORE CREATIVITY.
Always remember, don’t compare your day 1 to my day 1,001. Comparison robs you of your joy. I am still remembering my words for this year. This was an exercise in patience and wonder. Another word was BREATHE, that’s important because sometimes I find myself holding my breath while I am painting. I have to remind myself to Breathe.
I also love to listen to music while I am creating, more specifically, Symphony. Sometimes light symphony, sometimes not, depends on my mood and what energy I am trying to capture. This was done listening to Light Symphony.
Thank you for stopping by and spending some time with me today. Tag me on your projects so I can see what you are creating this Valentine’s (or Galentine’s) day.

Such a cute, fun card. Wondering if you use the Neenah classic crest to water paint on? I use it for my Copic coloring but didn’t think it was really water color doable. Please let me know. Thanks.
