Welcome back! Thank you so much for joining me for another Art Impressions Watercolor Weekend. This weekend I created a quick and easy Watercolor Bunny in a Basket painting for Easter. This project requires just a few stamps and markers to create this painting. Check out my video and paint along with me.
Watercolor Bunny card details
Step 1 – the basket
I stamped the basket from the Rustic Container Set using Sepia onto my watercolor paper. I left off a few areas to allow my foliage to be more prominent.
Step 2 – the bunny
Using a stamp positioner, I stamped the bunny using Sepia just above the basket.
Step 3 – the flowers and foliage
I created a mask for the bunny and then stamped in the foliage using Olive Green and flowers using Iris Purple. I added grasses (Olive Green) and flowers (Magenta) to the bottom of the basket.
Step 4 – finishing details
I signed the painting and then added a sky using Manganese Blue.
Using my Misti stamping tool, I stamped the sentiment from the Art Impressions Easter Blessings stamp set using Gina K Designs Edible Eggplant ink. Then, I mounted it on a mat made from Gina K Designs Edible Eggplant cardstock. I mounted the entire piece on a white card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I would love for you to take a peek at the video. Tag me on your projects on Instagram (@tobin0971). I am so grateful for all of my followers and subscribers.

So cute. Love how the bunny is perched on top of the foliage.
