I am so excited to share the first video showing you how I created this cute Watercolor Mini Journal. This journal was make using only watercolor paper. I love that because I really like to focus on painting not coordinating.
When I started thinking about his mini journal, I decided that I was going to have each of the pages fold out so I could make a larger scene. It was challenging (especially the large middle painting) but ohhhhh soooo much fun. I love the creativity that blooms when you think outside the box and really stretch yourself out of your comfort zone.
This first short video is showing how I created and water colored the journal cover. Join me for the rest of the series and these cute Hot Air Balloons, that I am also obsessed with. Clearly.
Check out the video on YouTube. I didn’t film the cover of the video because it was supposed to be for another project. It happened to be on my desk when I started the Mini Journal project and decided it worked so I went with it. 🙂
Won’t you try these awesome stamps and dies? If you do, make sure you tag me on Instagram so I can see your awesome creations!
Have a crafty day – see you soon!
